Communications Manager - Matthew Knowles

Matthew leads the SBAC on issues relating to communications and is the first point of contact for media enquiries to the SBAC. He ensures the timely dissemination of information from SBAC to members and stakeholders and manages the SBAC's work with the media.

Government Relations and Policy - Sarah Macken

Sarah is responsible for government relations and policy issues. She monitors parliamentary activities and, on behalf of members, formulates SBAC's position papers and submissions to select committees.

Policy and Communications - Dr Mark Watson

Mark provides strategic policy development and public affairs inputs to the team, particularly with regard to environmental, social and economic sustainability issues. He is responsible for the management of our work in support of the industry's strategy on Sustainable Aviation, on behalf of SBAC's members.

Defence Communications Facilitator- Mary Ann Griffiths

Mary Ann provides communications support to the Joint Communications Group, in line with the strategic aims of the Defence Industrial Strategy. Mary Ann works closely with MOD and industry press teams and is always be hunting for good defence stories about equipment, technology, careers, MOD and industry support in theatre etc. She is the point of contact for journalists looking for defence industry comment.
