UK Space Strategy 2003-2006 and Beyond

This British National Space Centre document sets out the strategy for realising a vision against three clear objectives (i) enhancing the UK?s standing in astronomy, planetary and environmental sciences; (ii) stimulating increased productivity by promoting the use of space in government, science and commerce; and (iii) developing innovative space technologies and systems, to deliver sustainable improvement in the quality of life. This strategy is aimed at decision-makers in the UK: in government, the scientific community and business. It also describes for BNSC?s international partners what the UK is aiming to achieve in space. It provides a firm overarching rationale to enable the UK to challenge and prioritise among different policy interests and motivations for investing in civil space. (December 2003)
