The SBAC Skills and People Management Board has formally adopted the following skills agenda:

• Establishing an effective dialogue between industry, government and academia to communicate and address skills needs.
• Continuing to develop a world class workforce.
• Promoting the UK aerospace sector more effectively in order to attract and retain the necessary skills and talent.

A programme has been established to address four project streams:

• skills supply and training
• promotion of the industry
• best practice implementation
• communications and influence.

This area of our activities is currently under development. Some information is provided below on the work programme and careers in aerospace, but please contact the Skills and People Agenda Advisor if you require further details.
