Dubai Airportshow 2008 - UK Pavilion Press Packs

More than 50 UK companies are exhibiting at the Airport Show being held in Dubai from
2 ? 4 June 2008 and at least 23 of them will be located in the UK Pavilion, organised by the British Aviation Group (BAG) and supported by UK Trade & Investment.

, a leading access control brand of Tyco International is set to display its airport-specific solutions at the Airport Show, Dubai (Stand WC4G), during 2nd-4th June. Copperchase
and their Poole neighbor's AGI have established a business collaboration to supply ATC Data Management and Met Display Systems to Airports world-wide. Copperchase target the small and medium size worldwide ATC airport sector providing a range of ATC Data Management and Information Display Systems. AGI produce Instrumented Runway Visual Range systems also aimed at the same market segment.

Mongolia Civil Aviation Authority has selected the Copperchase AFSWITCH to provide ATC AFTN communication for the Ulaanbaatar International Airport. The Copperchase AFSWITCH has provided AFTN handling for up to 32 serial circuits, and networked connections as part of the overall ATM contract awarded to Mongolia in 2007. The system will be provided with connection to the national AFTN network and will initially be provided with 16 Copperchase AFTERM AFTN terminals.

Smart Approach
has been swift to respond to the new industry guidelines that GSAT (General Security Awareness Training) is now a requirement of EC Regulation 2320. From 28 January 2008 applicants must provide evidence that they have successfully completed a full GSAT course; or provide evidence of 'equivalence' and by 19 January 2009 anyone who was the holder of a full pass at 28 January 2008 must have provided evidence that they have discharged the GSAT requirements or their pass will be suspended.
