The TB was delighted to welcome the Senior Dassault Aviation Management for an informal Working Breakfast at our A|D|S offices. There has been a very good attendance from the members and it's been a very interesting  morning session.

This informal Working Breakfast  was arranged to enable our Toulouse members to better understand the function of the Airbus Contracts Procurement team. The principal role of Philippe's Contract Procurement Department is to facilitate negotiations between various parties.

The Toulouse members undertook a very interesting visit to the Villaroche Site where a presentation was given on the Leap-x Programme including a visit to the test and assembly areas.

The Bureau was priviledged to be invited to attend a Working Breakfast as well as a factory visit at the Liebherr site in Toulouse. The Senior Liebherr Management greeted the members and expressed interest in each companies activities.

Working Breakfast - February 2010

This Working Breakfast was arranged to enable Scott to present Neil and at the same time to bid farewell prior to his return to the UK to take up a new appointment on A350. Important actions resulted from a frank discussion. These will be followed up on behalf of the members.

Klaus is a loyal supporter of the Toulouse Bureau and once again his presence during this Workung Lunch allowed him to update the attendees on the latest irbus situation as well as responding to members questions in an open and honest manner..

SBAC - 10th Anniversary Event

10th Anniversary Event - September 2009

This event held on 24th September at the prodigious "Orangerie de Rochemontes" near Toulouse was very well attended and honoured to host several VIP's including Tom Enders CEO Airbus, Ian Lucas MP Minister for Business and Sir Peter Westmacott HM Ambassador to France. Tom Enders congratulated ADS on its transition from SBAC as well as outlining the important role played by the Toulouse Bureau. The evening concluded with a magnificent firework display which was a fitting finale to an unforgettable event enjoyed by all present.

This Working Lunch coincided with a visit by Senior Representatives from UKTO to Airbus. Their agreement to join the discussion resulted in a frank exchange of views to benefit of the members.

SBAC Toulouse's members were privileged to host Ian Dawkins for an informal meeting over a working breakfast. The session was illuminating and the very open discussion helped our members to develop a clear picture of the key aspects of the Airbus future development direction.

The Bureau and its members were privileged to receive a visit from Philippe Marre and Raphael Duflos, both Senior memebers of the newly formed company who confirmed that the way is opened to any members wishing to discuss business opportunities.

Working Lunch at Dassault Aviation (Merignac) - April 2009 


As with the Eurocopter working lunch a discussion was organised with all Senior Memebers of the Purchasing Department followed by a factory visit. SBAC Toulouse member company representatives were able to present their activities on a one to one basis with the responsible Dassault Manager. 

Latecoere Supplier Conference (at Latecoere facility in Toulouse) - February 2009


The unique inaugural event including a factory visit was restricted to SBAC memebers and allowed participating companies to present their activities to Senior Managers. The result was a series of opportunities leading to further discussion.

Working Lunch at Eurocopter (Marignane) - February 2009


A discussion was organised with all Senior Members of the Purchasing Department followed by a lunch and factory visit. Members were able to present their company activities on a one to one basis with the responsible manager.
